Our solution
To improve the flow at the entrance, an integration with the digital reception would be useful, but these connections are often expensive and time-consuming, especially when dealing with less common access control systems. That’s why at FrontAssist we developed our own universal relay. This component makes it possible to connect our digital reception software to virtually any existing door controller, regardless of brand or model. Thanks to this relay, there’s no need for costly or time-consuming custom integrations anymore.
How does it work?
The relay functions as a smart link between our visitor registration software and your existing access control system. Instead of having to develop a unique integration for each different door controller, our relay can easily be installed on most access control systems currently in use.
When a visitor registers at the digital reception, the system can automatically send a signal to the relay, which then opens the door. This process is seamless and secure, with all actions logged to provide a complete record of who accessed the building and when.

Case study
At ROC Gilde, we provided a digital reception solution integrated with their access control system. Visitors or students who forget their student ID check in at the reception. After successful registration, a badge with a QR code is printed. They can use this badge to open the turnstiles to the right of the digital reception.
When checking out, they use the same badge to exit through the turnstiles. The digital reception CMS is updated, keeping the attendance list current. For visitors who lose their badge while inside, staff can print a new one.
